New to Daffodils need help ~ ??

| Hi - My neighbor dug up some of her overly crowded bunch & shared some with me ~ told me to dig up a hole & sink them ASAP. That was yesterday ~ the storm kept me & did them just now. Would they be OK ~ is there a way to tell? Could I have sank them in a pot first?

| They would be fine, as long as they were kept in cool, low-light conditions. Bulbs are quite hardy. |
