OH PLEASE NO--prune them DO NOT cut them back waht kind are they? My (21) have a tendency if I don't watch them. Are they blooming? Just cut them down (the ramblers) to the 5th leave and you will develope a stronger stem. Let me know debbie |

Debbie--They are single petal reds-- one was a tea rose that evidently went back to its root stock--with all this rain they are going crazy--some of the new shoots are bigger around than my thumb and are way over 5 foot tall--I looked for your email but its not listed--hope you stop back here and read this!! JEANNETTE: Try damrn01@hotmail.com. I don't understand single petal-you can cut down some of thosee shooters and make them more uniform with the rest of the plant. I know my climbers went nuts with all this rain. I just trimmed them back a bit. debbie |
