after several years of hiatus from gardening
i have planted a garden , and i am thinking about what to
put in next year i am contemplating trying something different besides tomatoes ,i put in beans and peas
does anybody have any expereince growing peas in iowa ?
i would like to hear if anybody has had had sucess at growing brussel sprouts and lettuce here in iowa ?

Just plant what you like to eat. I like new potatoes, onions, tomatoes, red peppers and squash. Lettuce is good but has such a short season. We grow raspberries because you can't get good ones in the grocery store.
