Moving to Nebraska

Hi Everyone! I'm moving to Nebraska from North Texas and Iowa was as close as I could get to a forum about Nebraska gardening. I would appreciate any info about gardening in this part of the country. I'm really going to hate leaving my beautiful gardens behind..... How do roses do out there?

RE: Moving to Nebraska

It would help us answer your question if you mentioned what part of Nebraska you'll be living in. The eastern part is similar to Iowa - a little hotter and drier, but the western part is quit different.

You might also try a general search for Nebraska and find out where the NE gardeners post. I tried it and found them in lawn care, veggies, tomatoes, and just about every place.
