| I found a Black Diamond plant late in the planting season, planted it, and have lots of vine and blooms. There are two melons about the size of a baseball. I picked off the blooms in hope of giving the melons more nourishment. Am wondering if I should cut back the vines without melons to encourage more melon growth, or leave well enough alone. I'm thinking there won't be enough growing season for these to mature, but wanted to give it a try. Any ideas or suggestions are most appreciated. Thank you for reading.
