If I had to guess I would say it is a pumpkin on a stick which is a form of eggplant. Just went to a seed saving class in Marion a week ago and they were handing out seeds for them but they were orange so not sure if your plant has not matured yet. They are extremely small and look just like that.

Definitely poke weed (AKA poke salet) and it is poisonous as big as it is now, especially any part of the root, but not limited to that. All parts contain toxins. Never ever eat any of this plant raw.

I have the same thing growing in my yard next to the timber line and been wondering what it is. I'm so glad I saw this post.
