How much time left to plant perennials?

Posted by mysterypoodle Toddville, IA 5a (My Page) on

How did it get to be the middle of September? I swear it was August 10th yesterday.

So, having gotten a little behind in my work, (like the butcher who backed into the meat grinder) how long do y'all think I have to try to get some perennials in yet this fall?

I'm more or less in Cedar Rapids.

Thanks!

If you come across a good buy, plant and mulch!

Go for it! I think we have at least a couple more good weeks. Make sure to water well and I'd mulch as well.
