I was planting flowers and found lots of termites in the soil next to my slab foundation. They have also been eating my fence and a rotting tree stump. Last week there was a swarm of what I thought were swarmer termites hovering my lawn. I also found a bunch of dead black "gnats" on the window sills on the 2nd story of our home. I know 2 of my neighbors have been treated for termites. I've had 3 termite inspections in the last 2 years with the most recent in November and they all came back with no sign of termites in the house.

Would it be a waste to treat for termites with no evidence of damage in the house? Should I wait until I have proof of damage?
