Silverfish

Over the last few weeks I have noticed some silverfish.
Live in the NorthEast - and the temperatures are now turning to spring and occasionally warm.
Have a two story townhouse. One of the bathrooms upstairs is not used at all - I found a few silverfish on the floor in that bathroom. But also killed a few downstairs (alive) on the wall near the front door and front windows.
I don't see any moisture/leaks that could cause them, nor do the bathroom fixtures seem to have any leaks.
- any suggestions of where to look? or what to do?
One suggestion I was given was to flush the toilets (with some clorox cleaner) upstairs a few times a week - even if not used -- as they could be coming in via the water pipes there.

Sorry, silverfish don't come in via the water pipes, at least not from the interior of the water pipes.
