I'm curious if anyone can help me identify what these little beetle things are? Although it's not the greatest picture in the world, one can be seen here:

They are tiny little beetles and they are driving me crazy! Very tiny, about half the size of a grain of rice, oval shaped, and they are brownish in color. They seem to only be found in one small area of our living room and congregate on the wood floors near the baseboard. We sweep them up and not 20 minutes later there will be a few more. If left overnight there will be many of them 35+. More appear when it's warm out, none when it's really cold.. The look like they are dead but if you sweep them up and watch them in the dust pan for a minute they will come alive.

They look kind of like a "larder" beetle but don't have the tan stripe. That and they are no where near food stuff, pantry, pet food, or any food source what so ever.

I'm stumped?? Can't figure out what I need to do to get rid of them as I have no clue what they are :(

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Oh and I live in southeastern Michigan if that helps..
