I help out at a local organic farm and there seems to be a feast by grasshoppers in the hoop house. The farm is run by a well meaning person but I think she really doesn't know what she's doing. lol. My suggestionn is to introduce a couple guinea hens as the grasshoppers are everywhere. I'm about to plant my own tomato plants into a bed in said house and I don't WANT the hoppers to eat my plants. I've never had a problem with grasshoppers so have no idea what to do to protect MY plants. And, the hoppers are all over.
