 o
Unidentified bug

I was in Ft. Lauderdale outside in the garden and came into my bedroom. I put my hand on the bed and heard a clicking sound, kind of like paper being manipulated. I looked down and I had my hand on a kind of large bug. I thought it was a cockroach, it was about 3/4 of an inch long. What was amazing was that it had bright (very bright)
glowing neon green eyes. It was very bright. I removed my hand and it went under one of the wrinkles in the bedcover and I got a jar and caught it. The jar was opalescent plastic but those eyes shone right through it. I searched the net to find out what kind of beetle this was. It didn't fit a cockroach because it was quite flat. It had wings like a beetle and was brown like a large brown cockroach. Has anyone seen such a thing? I wonder what it was. It was quite extraordinary.
