A couple of weeks ago i was browsing thru the forum,i dont rember which one , and came across posting an item on stink bugs. It mentiond that they used Neem oil, and it seemed to work.So i went on line and ordered 8 Oz. The price was $10.00 plus shipping which came to $14.00. When it came i couldnt wait to try it,so i mixed up a gallon and went int the garden. On my yellow bell peppersthere were 3 stink bugs, i fan sprayed the plant and watched the bugs. One of them started to climb up one of the branches, then turned around and started to climb on to the pepper as it touched the pepper it fell to the ground, and i noticed the other 2 bugs on their backs. I know this is a long drawn out experience, but i have tried several ways to get a handle on these buggers and they have not worked, this might be the one.I thought this neem might be worth tying.

Good for you! Neem is fairly common now, and it might be worth while checking local sources rather than having to pay all that shipping. Just check the % of active ingredient to make sure you are comparing apples with apples!

Hi Ralph: I don't know if you were seeking this type of advice but here's my experience with stink bugs: They can be kind of tricky, hiding under leaves or dropping to the ground as you try to catch them. So now I use a bucket of water and knock them into it (I really should add some drops of liquid soap). Of course, this only works if you have a small to medium garden you're defending. The ones that do escape to the ground: I bury them quickly in several inches of soil. They really are destructive little stinkers.
