| These great big fat things have devastated my cannas. Will they move on or do they lay eggs for next year? I don't like to spray with insecticides.
Thanks,

They lay eggs for next year. When you first start seeing babies next Spring, start using Nolo Bait. It will not get rid of them all, and is not effective on adults, but will help control their numbers. I've also heard of farmers "turning over" the soil which will bring some of the eggs up to the surface and help control the number of viable eggs for next season. Mrs H |
