help! leaf footed bugs on tomatoes

| I spotted these bugs (leaf-footed bugs) a week ago they will not go away what can I do to rid of them and can you eat the tomatoes sense they put there sucking mouth piece in the tomatoes and does anyone know do they carry any diseases? |

| Hand remove them or vacuum and yes and no. ;-) |
