Silverfish

| The last few months we see multiple silverfish crawling across our tile at night and it appears to be getting worse. Last night my wife counted 16. I’d like to not use chemical insecticides indoors. Is there anything that is effective against them?
I looked online and saw the Safer Ant and Crawling Insect Killer, which appears to be some sort of baited DE. Is this effective? I’d like to apply it along the caulk line where the tile meets the wall, but not sure if a white powder would be a good option, especially with the dog likely to track through it.
Ideally it would be something colorless/odorless, something that can be applied outside that will deter them from coming inside, or something that can be applied in an out of sight area. Any ideas?

| If they're silverfish, it means you have a moisture problem somewhere. Find it; fix it; then dry out the area. The silverfish will leave/be gone. |

| Actually, I misidentified them. They are definately earwigs, not silverfish. Any ideas in indoor control? |

| If earwigs, they just wandered indoors and are "lost." But you can look for where they are getting in, then you can caulk those cracks and crevices. |
