Field crickets invading house

We have been living in our house for a few months and just noticed that field crickets have decided to start invading. I've found them in every room of the house. What is the best and safest way to get rid of them? I do have two younger children so I'm a bit worried about using boric acid or any other pesticides. Please help :-)

Try to determine where they are getting in and seal those entry points. If crickets can get in there other, even less desireables can also. Sometimes people do not think about the weather strip under the doors that can get worn over time and are less effective at keeping heat in as well as less effeective at keeping thingys such as crickets out.
