nematodes for cuke beetles?

We are suffering through our second generation of cucumber beetles this summer and are researching ways to control them better next year.

I've read that beneficial nematodes are good to use in the garden and will eat the CB larva.

Has anyone used these nematodes with any success or have any other experience with, or knowledge of, them to offer? Thanks...

Just put out 70 billion Steinernema Carpocapsae for Cranberry Girdler over the weekend. This did 35 acres.
They work well if kept alive. They must be adequately watered in to already moist soil and kept moist. Make sure the coverage is fairly even.
They are easy to apply with a backpack sprayer with a large nozzle or injected into the sprinkler system.
Read and follow package instructions. Insect Parasitic Nematodes has a good website with some tips.
This is not a cheap option. For us it was about $800/Cdn per acre.
