| In the past few days at night I've been hearing critters in my attic. Once in awhile I'll hear the chewing sounds, then a minute later, gone. Next day my wife runs into the computer room saying she hears something running around in my soffits. I just say that I'll look into it and she leaves. This happened one time before a year ago and found a squirrel got up there because I left the garage doors open quite often. Yesterday as I was gathering the garbage cans for G-Day I seen from the corner of my eye, something dropping from the gutters above. Plunk ! The critter stared up at me and froze in place. Meanwhile I'm registering that this mouse jumped down from above (approx. 10 feet) then I'm figuring on stepping on the rodent when it passes. No such luck. It gets by. Fortunately I have several mouse traps around and put one in its path. This morning I got the last laugh when emptied the trap. Haven't heard it in my rafters since. Has anyone else had this happen to them ? |
