Chipmunks in vinyl siding

| Is there any way to make sure that the chipmunks we see climbing up into the vinyl siding at the corner of our house are actually OUTSIDE before we start to seal it up again? We're trying to avoid a scenario in which we seal up the space and have the chipmunk die inside. |

| Go around and rap on that siding, starting as far away from the entry point as you can, to chase the wee buggers out. |
