Small bugs on sedum

I am starting some sedum cutting inside and have recently noticed some super small green bugs beginning to appear on them. Can someone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them without killing the plants. Thanks.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pictures of the bugs on the head of a pen.

probably some sort of aphid. Try rinsing the plants under a water spray if possible. You may have to repeat every few days until they don't return.

Alternately an insecticidal soap can be used a few times to get rid of them. If you don't have an insecticidal soap you can use liquid dish soap mixed with water with decent results. Use around 1 tablespoon of soap to a quart of water.

Not *probably* aphids. But, oh yeah, aphids! Get 'em before they multiply!
