| Not a Mayfly, and not a termite. I believe it might be Brown Lacewing, though we don't know what size your critters are. If larger, they might be Giant Lacewings. |

| What you have there appears to be a fungus gnat (Sciaridae). The larval food consists of moist decaying matter and fungi growing in the soil. These gnats breedin settings such as rotting wood, animal waste, under bark or in over-watered plants. Hope this helps. |
