Beautiful Light Green Praying Mantis With Wings

| I wonder why it has wings. Is it a female? Will she fly off now? I put out two egg sacks every year. I wonder why I never see them lay eggs on one of my 90 roses or 10 Fruit trees. I have even seen them mating in the yard. But still no egg sacks. Dave

| All Praying Mantids have wings, they just don't use them very often. |
