Can ladybugs be overwintered?

I've got ladybugs EVERYWHERE now. They are swarming around the doors and windows looking for a way in.

Is anyone aware of a way to keep them alive until next spring so that they can munch on the aphids in my garden?
It just seems a shame that so many will die when the temperature drops.

This spring I had asparagus beetles for the first time and purchased about a thousand lady bugs to keep the asparagus beetles in check. Now, when the garden is about done for the season, I've got an explosion of ladybugs.

Anyone got any ideas?

Most likely the Asian lady beetles. They overwinter where they live. So that's the reason you have them at your place,

Leave them be and they will survive.
