| Occasionally I will take insects to the science teacher if they are interesting. She likes the scorpians. A month ago I found the largest praying mantiss that I had ever seen. I put her in a glass jar with the leaves. The students found her very fascinating. Two days later, she laid an egg sack. Now the students are REALLY interested and doing research on their own about when they will hatch and what to do with them. I said I wanted some of the babies!

| Make sure you keep them in a cool place or else you will have hundreds of babies with nothing to eat but themselves! Once you feel like temps outside are temperate enough they can be released. |
