| These irises are from my grandmother's yard. My mom took them from her yard after she died, and then my mom gave me some of them this past christmas. They traveled 3,000 miles to come live in my yard. I'm so happy they are blooming!

| Beautiful! & what a trek! The white one looks like iris albicans, the old white cemetary iris, & I don't know for sure, but the purple one reminds me of William A Setchell; it's a huge iris. |

| Your purple is a real beauty. I think you will be happy with it in your garden. I have my grandfather's irises, and I grow some for sentimental reasons, but they are not pretty like yours. Little lavender flowers that kind of curl up on themselves. Renee |
