Shadow Cast of Characters (Ghio 2001) I actually have a huge bee pod on this one right now. Have no idea "whose the daddy."

Shadow, Thanks for the photos. I would grow the seeds from Cast of Characters. Ghio iris are great and this one is so unique, you may have some winners inside that pod. Randy

Wow. Terrific color on these photos. I love Purple People Eater. It's often the last one standing in my garden.
|
Hope there's something wonderful in your bee pod. Great pics.

Thanks for that Shadow. As I am going to purchase a SLR camera for the first time any information is helpful. To date I have been using Fuji point and shoot which are good but lack the clarity so obvious with your close ups. What lens do you use for the close up shots that you have recently been posting. Regards

For my iris pictures, Canon 50mm 1.8 II lens. The trick for me is using a tripod too. When I don't, the pictures are not as sharp. Shadow

Cast of Characters has been on my wishlist since it first came out, but it's always fallen to the wayside in replace of rare historic iris...maybe some day. Carlos
