| Been awhile since I've posted here. Just so busy working two jobs and dealing with family problems. Plus we're building a back patio overhang in our "spare" time. Not much time for the garden, or hanging out on the forums.
Was gonna post some pics last week, but didn't get to it. Thought I'd try and get a few on here now. Maybe some more later...
ACT OF KINDNESS
AMETHYST SUNCATCHER
AMPLE CHARM
BADITUDE
BEIJING
BRONZE FALCON

Great Shots. Sorry to hear about working so much and the family problems. Ditto here, gardens other than iris are not getting watered, because neighbor took down water table by watering 13 ponds for 6 hours! If you have a desire to trade for Cinnomon Sun will trade as that is something I am looking for in hybridizing this year. D Take care

Woah! That's a bummer about the water, Denise. To answer your question from Shadow's thread, my niece and I opened a general craft and fabric shop, plus she has antiques and "collectibles." I've worked at the local Ace Hardware store almost 20yrs now (along with your cousin Ron) and we used to have a huge craft dept. They decided to drop the crafts and expand the plumbing dept. People have been really upset, because they would have to drive to Chico (about 15 miles) to get their crafts and thread, zippers, yarn, etc. So we decided to open up the shop and hopefully we can make a little money in the next few yrs. In the meantime, I still have to work to have an income. It's hard. When I get a chance, I'll go see if I can dig out a couple CINNAMON SUN rhizomes to send to you. Ya might have to remind me tho! Thanks Shadow! I think my favorite of these is probably BRONZE FALCON. That was a new one for me, and while the blooms were smallish, I LOVE the coloring!! That CHOCOLATE MARMALADE is another good one. That photo just doesn't do it justice tho. It's one you have to see in person to really appreciate.

Wow, Beth, such unusual coloring on each and every one of these. I just fell in love with Act of Kindness, although I have seen it before and not been impressed. You photo is just beautiful. By it's Citoyen that really has me drooling. I love the way the brown falls are so subtly shaded. I was thinking about getting Scottish Reel but this one is just as striking. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to post the photos; as you can see, we are sitting here like wolves waiting for iris photos! Renee

Nice Beth! I love the veining of 'Ample Charm'. But it's 'Chocolate Marmalade' that makes me howl.

Beth, that is what happened here, many of the general craft stores and carry all sewing stores with affordable material for bazaars are gone, we have Michaels which is about 50 miles away, for fabric only expensive quilt fabric stores, so the fabric for bazaar crafting is gone unless we go to Portland which is about 150 miles away, so digging into your stash (which mine is huge) and now like you no time. I wish you luck and much success, please keep us posted D
