beardless irises

Is there a way to distinguish between Siberian, Louisiana and Japanese irises when they are not in bloom? Are there structural differences in the leaves? The plants I inherited are about 3' tall, bloom a few weeks after bearded irises in early June, and have blooms that are 4-5 " in diameter. I divided a clump last fall when it was about 4yrs old. The resulting plants bore a few blooms this spring.
