Magharee looks perfect, after all these years.

Beth started a craft store with her niece (?) ~~ maybe last year. She still posts now and then on the rose gallery.

I thought i could avoid buying a Rebel by getting a used G3 (Canon) ~~ haven't mastered it yet. So I'm taking tiff pics with the Oly 3mp. Surprisingly good.

Thanks for the information Iris Gal. Did you get a manual with your G3? If not, I have a few camera web sites bookmarked that have a lot of information on them. Once you get used to it, most Canon camera controls are similar. I always love the pictures you take.

Thank you! There was a manual, which I have misplaced ~~ took it to bed, and to the bathroom and to the .................???

I did download it after Vista's default photo program reduced them to less than 600kb and the size of a postcard. There went this year's iris photos. Will have to use Elements next try. I like the feel of it much better than my Canon A95 point-and-shoot ~~~ which was bought for the peach-toned ones! Beth shoots with a G3. Oops, I think she now has a Sony.

Oooh- Magharee. It was one of the original irises on my wish list, but I got English Charm because it was a rebloomer. Magharee is much prettier.

Lark Ascending reminds me how beautiful a white iris can be.

Gorgeous pics Shadow! I love that SAFARI SUNSET! My PALACE GOSSIP didn't bloom the last couple yrs.

Irisgal's right. I opened up a craft shop with my niece last yr, and it's been a crazy yr. I still work at my regular job too... only have one day off a week. I have so little time to do anything anymore. The roses haven't been deadheaded in months and the irises need thinning out. I did take pics of them, but haven't had time to post any. I'll try to get some posted as soon as I can...

Shadow that is one of the best shots of Magharee I have ever seen...

What kind of craft shop Beth?

Thanks Denise :)

Beth, sound like you have been busy with your 2 jobs. I know how hard it is working full time and trying to take care of the home and garden too. For me, usually "the home" gets put off until last, unless I know I am going to have company. Still can't seem to get all of my gardening done because I have more than I can take care of, but I still keep getting more.

Renee, I really am not crazy about white irises, but that one is really beautiful.

Iris Gal, sorry to hear about your gophers. There was a thread on the "other forum" a little while back about the same subject. Luckily no gophers here, but we do have a lot of moles.
