Now having looked at the new introductions 'Dracula's Kiss' would be more to my liking and you can see the influence of Keith Keppels 'Local Color' in its breeding; but at Sixty US Dollars that would be $120.00 NZ dollars and that is even further from reality.
Just as well our ministry of Agriculture has made it impossible to import irises other wise the bank balance would take a pounding.
Just put up 'Old Black Magic' on my blog which for those with more realistic budgets is still a top class iris

Just finished research for a post on my blog for the Iris "Black Forest" that is acknowledged as the Progenitor of the great Schreiner Blacks and to think that BF is in the pedigrees of both 'Dracula's Kiss' and 'Old Black Magic' on both sides of the cross.
