Iris Flower

I originally posted this to the wrong forum, hopefully this will not get deleted

I just came back from the farm store in Kingston NY where they had in their garden section a small plastic container of Iris bulbs for 50 cents, couldn't resist the deal. There is like four small stalks about 6 inches long in the pot. It is 0 degrees and the ground is obviously frozen with about 2+ feet of snow blanketing my garden right now here in central Massachusetts. I have extensive experience with Amaryllis plants, but none with the Iris.

My initial thought is to repot each bulb individually after I clean them up, give them a bit to drink and wait till warmer climate arrives. Making sure the soil does not dry out of course. Then I will plant them. I read that they will multiply quickly in time. Does that sound like a plan. Oh, my Amaryllis's are in a nice sunny area in our house, in various stages of growth. My cactus and succlunets are in as well. Comments would be appreciated, thanks's
