Hi All,
I haven't been around here in awhile.I came out of lurkdom to let you know about an article (Squidoo lens) that I wrote recently about preserving historic irises and thought you might enjoy.

If you like it (and of course there are several photos) please leave comments, a Squidoo like, tweet, facebook like, etc. I try to answer all comments personally.

Here is a link that might be useful: Preserving Historic Irises

This was fun, and thanks for posting. I recently bought a house with some "yellow" and some "brown" probably historic iris. I can't wait to see them bloom to see what they are!

Loved 'Glowing Volcano' --- new one to me. Thank you.
