Karen, many years ago I too thought Ovation was eye-catching. But eventually I found many pinks I thought had improvements. Ovation was low on bud count for me. HereÂs a new iris I saw this past spring on a tour in Fresno which I think exhibits the strong pink coloring like Ovation did, and the hybridizer says it is a rebloomer for him as well. Many pinks have blends with white or cream in the throat, this one, Peggy Sue, blends with itÂs darker pink/red beard in the throat, much like Ovation.

My gosh, kittyl, your Peggy Sue is gorgeous. Can you recommend a grower for purchase? I'm putting together an iris and rose garden of pinks and blues. This would be a lovely choice, and the big bonus - it's a rebloomer!
