Randi, I left a message on your facebook page. You iris is some sort of a tall bearded historic iris, but I cannot ID it. You may want to check out the HIPS website to see if any of their photos match yours, but I would post the photo on the Historic Iris Preservation site on Facebook to see if someone can ID it there.

Look more like a Standard Dwarf Bearded to me. I will try to name it for you. I have some historic Iris and that one just is not quite right.

I think you are right Renee! I cannot find one that looks like this one. Very pretty. I have searched A kazillion places to no avail!

It's a very old diploid iris. Thin stems, floppy form, weak substance are the clues. Growing in shade accents this traits as well.
