Nice picture of Total Recall. I'm glad I actually do have Total Recall, but I'm going to move it & see if it does better elsewhere. Maybe TR just doesn't like it here.

Not only your Iris absolutely beautiful, but the photography is amazing! Is it the camera, time of the day, proper lighting? My pics never turn out so stunning.

Natalie- take a look at Kay's (organickitten) photos if you want good photography.

I always take pics early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Outdoor shots look better when it is overcast. Never shoot in the direction of the sun without a sunshade on the camera. Stop the shutter speed down one to two stops for bright colors, or use a photo editing program like Picasa and click the button "I feel Lucky."

The problem is the brightness of the sun washes out the flowers.

Renee, thank you - I will play with my camera. I usually set it in "auto" mode. You are right about sunny days - it really washes out the colors.
