Good source for Bearded Iris

I am new to Irises, as in, I have none but would like to try them. Is there a good online source where I can order now for Fall Deliver?

Also, I read the FAQ but didn't really learn much about a good site for irises. My soil is clay and alkaline.

As always, I'm happy to recommend BlueJ Iris for their hardiness, selection (great catalog with photos online), and very reasonable prices.

Snowpeak, Aitken's Salmon Creek Nursery, Schreiners and Cooleys are all excellent.

There are many more. Prices will vary. This link will take you to the American Iris Society and if you click on Commercial Directory/Listing you will see a blurb with a link on many, many growers.

I can highly recommend Schreiners. The rhizomes I got from them last year were huge and the rebloomers bloomed about 6 weeks after I planted them. They also send a small free book about how to plant and care for iris in with the order that is great for a new grower.
