| I posted back in the fall about the possibility of planting irises in pots, and I went ahead and did it.
A few of them didn't quite take, for one reason or another, but most did. Anyway, I looked outside recently and found one of the miniatures (Toddler, I believe) had bloomed, seemingly out of nowhere. And then two of the talls developed buds, which just finished opening up this morning. :-) I'll need to check later which ones they are, though (I think Winter Waltz and Best Bet, from my records). Anyway, I wasn't sure if they'd live or bloom, so I'm pleased. I really didn't put a lick of work into them, despite their being in pots, so that's a bonus. |

| I think Best Bet is very pretty, and it's supposed to be a strong grower. You made a good choice there! It's good to know they will do well in pots. Renee |
