Iris, Pride of Ireland

Does anyone have this iris? I love the color in the sales picture but I wonder if it is really green.

I have this one & another "green" iris. To my eye, they are a murky yellow. I guess they are yellow with a green cast, I think you have to use your imagination. Of course, this is coming from someone who doesn't care much for yellow anyway, & when I do, I prefer a soft, butter yellow. I'm not sure what sales picture you have, but I suspect it was touched up.

I just got this iris last year so no bloom yet. I'm not a soft-yellow lover but this is pretty.

I think green irises are like blue roses. I have Green and Gifted and Bayberry Candle, and neither is green, but like Nancy says, if you squint and use your imagination you can pretend.

Thanks, I had a feeling it was a retouched photo since I have never seen a green iris.

Nancy, I like your pale yellow iris. I am afraid I have yet to see an iris I didn't like.
