Help with ID for an older Purple

Posted by penelope Z6 KY (My Page) on

I know that purple Iris are plentiful. Any suggestions would be so appreciated.

This early-mid blooming, 2-tone purple iris is about 28" tall. Would you call the beard white tipped in gold?? It is fragrant. There is heavy veining.

Thanks so much for your help,
Penny

It looks somewhat like Alcazar, but it is not a large flower.
