That looks like my Total Recall. The falls are right. And my foliage is short now too- so that seems right.
Magheralin is a show stopper. Whatever is behind it there is a gorgeous iris too.

The iris behind Magheralin is Backdraft. Backdraft is amazing, I haven't had it long, fall 2010, & it has made a decent clump already.

Oops, the one I identified as Jazz Solo is actually Jamaican Dream. My memory doesn't linger long enough for me to stroll through my iris, download my pictures, & post.

I am new on here (old to iris growing ) Am so much enjoying the flower show on here since my first to open ..is still trying to open after about 4 days of cold and rain here. The suspense is killing me!!
It will open today for sure if the frost didnt get it...

Thanks everyone! Magheralin is really that color, but keep in mind it is shaded. It is just a wonderful rich, deep blue/purple.
I really need to take a shot of the iris beds. It smells so lovely too. I can't take the scent of iris in the house, very strong, but just wonderful outside. It has been windy & cool, so you just get the fragrance & not knocked down by it.

Very pretty! I agree with the color on Magheralin--and I also like Backdraft, next to it.
