Help with ID for DH's fav purple

This is very dark purple / burgundy.
It is about 44" tall and blooms mid-season. It is well-branched and each has 4-5 buds. the beard starts sparse. On the older blooms it appears dark - but it starts out a dk yellow??
Notice how fall down the veining comes.
It's close to Ambassadeur, 1920.
