small flowers

I alot of my irises are blooming but some are very small flowers. Is this because of them not getting enough sunlight? Some of them I had moved a few years ago and this is the first time they bloomed but some of the others have been in the same place for years.

how much shade you growing them in???

and what type of iris???

It could be too much shade or a hard winter or crowding.
