We've had record rainfalls too, but I've had no problem with them blooming. Just keeping them standing up. Blue Review blooms quite well, but it is tall & very floppy. I like Dusky Challenger, it blooms well, & is doing well against all the wind. Alien Mist is rather nice, took a couple of years to bloom, but is doing well now & holding up well against the winds. I've always wanted Sea Power, it looks like such a nice big blue flower.

I just started trying blues, so I don't have any experience yet. Victoria Falls bloomed this year, and I like the color. I'll see how it multiplies. Many people complain that it falls over. Clarence should be open by tomorrow morning. No Count Blues bloomed really well last year, but it's more of a cool lavendar to me than a blue. I am also waiting on Walking on Air. I'll let you know how that turns out.

I got the blues!!! Here are some I have that have done well. Sea Power, Honky Tonk Blues, Baja Blue, Blueberry Bliss, Cross Current, Skywalker, Scented Bubbles (it glows!) & Victoria Falls. Love blue irises!

Merchant Marine is my best blue and one of my top five iris. I got mine from Schreiners. Sea Power is another great one and the ruffled form is so very pretty. But Merchant Marine is bluer for me.

I do love blue iris and planted many last summer so we will see what blooms this spring.

My Clarence isn't Clarence. It was a Home Depot buy. Walter Moores says it is probably Clearance.

Looks like I will be going to Shreiners this year with a list in hand. Last year I went with a list from the web.sight and didn,t end up with any of them because they all looked so different than the pics. on thier sight online.

Schreiner's photos are old and pretty bad. I wish they would take some new ones. The photos in the print catalog are much better.
