| My Irises finally opened! They all look like they are the same type.
I have narrowed them down to Blue Kentucky Girl, City Lights or Full Tide. Can someone help?

| I'm not sure how you found those names for your very pretty iris but none are possibilities. This looks like a much older iris. If you Google daves garden plant list; chose iris from the list of plants and then search for these names you will see why they are not a match. I will check my photos of historics when I am home for some possibilities. Nice photo. |

| Two possibilities --- Dalmatica (found~ 1600) and Andalusian Blue (IB Schreiners'39). |

| A lot of the Dalmatica pictures have blooms that look the same, but the leaves on mine are a solid green. All of the pictures have two tone leaves. It is probably the Andalusian Blue. There is only one picture, but it looks just like mine. The previous owners must have been really fond of this type, because it is the only one planted... all over the place. I was hoping to see some more colors, but every one that blooms looks the same. They are even coming up in a protected area behind our house, so I think they just threw them back there when they had too many. |
