Haha. That's that "weed" Cerinthe.. I love it, so I let it be.. Pull it out where it offends me.. Got a few of those annuals that self-sow all over the place.. Don't know how I'd live without them. : )

I posted a picture of a similar iris about a year ago. Back then the response was that it is also probably Crinoline, but now if I compare it somehow doesn't match exactly, although I guess the looks can differ to a certain extent?

Yours does looks like Sherry's --- the beards, the faint fall line, the shading at the base of the standards of the rib area ....

There's some 'blow-out' in her photo where detail is lost on the light area of the falls. I have that problem when shooting in certain light, time of day, angle of the camera, etc.
