Wow, that's really gorgeous. I like the blue/purple under the beard- very unusual. I don't have an answer for you, but have you looked at Blue J Iris's site? They organize by color, so it's easier to search.

Thanks Renee...I swapped some plants with a gardening friend and this was one of the "surprise" flowers. They were all suppose to be in the purple family but I got this beauty instead. =)

I agree with littlebit. It looks like Mountain Melody. Beautiful Iris!

Mountain Melody looks like a good match. I would want to rule out these first tho.

The beard is the wrong color for Plum Gleam, but the others are oh so close..

Perfect example of how hard it is to truly id a lost name iris
