How often do Rebloomers Rebloom?

Last year I planted a couple bulbs from Walmart with no name. Just Iris. Turns out one has never bloomed, and one bloomed last September, again in January, and now, it's blooming again! It is bearded, purple and white stripes, and smells devine! I believe it's Circus Stripes. Not sure, but it looks like that from the catalogs I've seen.

How often do rebloomers rebloom? And, when do you separate the bulbs? This one has never died back.

Here's a link which shows the variability of rebloom.

Separating is best done right after bloom.

My Total Recall blooms from March to the end of January. Sometimes it takes a short breather in August, but not always. I have others that have never rebloomed. I divide it anytime between July and November.

I like Circus Stripes- it's very dramatic.

Renee and Iris Gal, thanks for the link, and the dividing advice. I'll try separating this Iris this week as soon as the last bloom is gone. There are 4 fans, so I guess that means there are 4 bulbs?

Not sure what to do with the one that has not bloomed at all. Maybe I'll move it. It might not like it's spot.
