I'm such a sucker for dark purple, just love those last 2 iris, such deep saturation on Magheralin.

Thanks everyone. I just love the deep colors too, & Magheralin just has a nice shape. I don't normally like the older iris, but Circus Stripes appeals to me, just so different. I guess Circus Stripes can't be considered an heirloom, I think it came out in 1975 or 76, I think the striping makes up for lack of ruffles that I like in the more modern iris :)

Actually, I think the stripes look neater on an iris that doesn't have all those fussy frills. I think circus stripes is a really neat iris!

They are all very lovely. I always love those deep purples and the striped one is quite unusual.
