First TB spikes today in CO

It has been terribly cold (40s for highs) the past few days after near 80 on Wed.

I happened to walk into the garden anyway this afternoon and discovered that I have new iris spikes coming up on one TB. Wednesday's heat must have coaxed them out.

This has been a cool spring for us so it is a little late but I was delighted to finally see signs of the coming bloom season. It is a NOID that I have not seen bloom in my own garden yet. It must be an extra early bloomer because my intermediates have not sent anything up yet.

Saw my first SDB bloom at my newly aquired display garden on Tuesday.

Those of you to my north...spring really is coming your way!

You must be really excited that the bloom season is coming. Especially since you have taken the plunge and gotten all those new (to you) iris and daylilies in your new garden. I don't envey you all that work but I sure will love to see pictures of your redone gardens blooming.
